Interactive workshop on the European Codes of Practice for Knowledge Valorisation in which we will discuss their relevance for SME Software Companies
In this 45-minute Workshop hosted by the Austrian NCP-IP, you will learn more about the European Codes of Practice for Knowledge Valorisation. The term *Knowledge Valorisation* has become increasingly central in recent years. It describes the process of creating social and economic value from knowledge by connecting various fields and sectors and transforming data, expertise, and research results into sustainable products, services, solutions, and knowledge-based policies.
This concept has gained prominence within the European Union's research and innovation policy framework to promote the application of research outcomes for tangible benefits to the economy and society. Unlike traditional knowledge transfer, which often focuses on technology and commercialization, knowledge valorisation adopts a broader approach that includes social and environmental aspects.
To support the implementation of guiding principles for knowledge valorisation, the European Commission has developed four *Codes of Practice*. These codes aim to facilitate the implementation of knowledge valorisation principles at national, regional, and local levels.
